I used to choose necklaces mostly based on the design, but lately I’ve realized that length can make just as much difference. The same piece can look completely different with a crew-neck T-shirt, an open collar, or a hoodie. For casual styling, I think it helps to consider where the pendant or chain will sit rather than choosing accessories randomly. If the necklace is already noticeable, keeping the rings or bracelet more subtle can create a better balance. It also makes the outfit feel more natural instead of overly accessorized.
